During its upfronts discussion on Monday, Fox told marketers about a new animated series that leans on two buzzwords that youve definitely heard even if you dont understand what they are: blockchain and NFT. Krapopolis, from Community and Rick & & Morty developer Dan Harmon, is “an animated comedy set in mythical ancient Greece” following gods, monsters and humans trying to exist together.

Where the crypto-buzz comes in is in a number of ways. Fox is introducing its own NFT business, Blockchain Creative Labs, together with the show to “produce, offer and manage NFTs, tokens and digital items.” As such, Krapopolis will be the first show ever “curated entirely on the blockchain.”
