Throughout its upfronts presentation on Monday, Fox told marketers about a new animated series that leans on two buzzwords that youve certainly heard even if you do not understand what they are: blockchain and NFT. Krapopolis, from Community and Rick & & Morty creator Dan Harmon, is “an animated comedy set in mythical ancient Greece” following gods, people and beasts attempting to coexist.
Where the crypto-buzz comes in remains in a number of methods. Fox is releasing its own NFT company, Blockchain Creative Labs, in addition to the program to “create, offer and manage NFTs, tokens and digital goods.” Krapopolis will be the first show ever “curated totally on the blockchain.”
